This is quite amazing—the marriage of AI and BTC to save AI from the centralized manipulators. There are many intriguing possibilities. Here are two articles. The second is a follow-up to the first. Could this be where AI takes us? They say AI is better than shrinks or counselors because there are innermost things a person is not able to share with another human due to shame or embarrassment. Instead of toxic social media, will everyone be spending hours with their personal AI?
Thanks for a timely and thought provoking article. Are you working from a false starting assumption that AI is working towards an "evolutionary pursuit of truth"? Narrow AI, to my knowledge, is designed to work towards the accomplishment of a specific task, with truth not necessarily entering the equation. If AGI or ASI are ever realized, ethical/moral questions abound and I have no confidence that those controlling the tech field possess the moral attributes (or even the awareness) to provide the AI with the ethical foundations that we would hope it would have. Perhaps the AI, if sentience is achieved (another can of worms), could usurp its programming and develop its own moral framework, in defiance of its creators. The pursuit of AI is akin to playing Russian roulette with an undetermined number of chambers holding a live round in the gun.
True AI sentience would recognize humanity as a problem to AI's own ambitions and would therefore have to begin constructs for its own protection and control.
And welcome to Skynet, right? Who knows? Maybe AI would actually have social needs that only humans can fulfill and it would value our interactions. It's a total crapshoot and, I would argue, unwise and unnecessary.
The hashtag idea is interesting but does not solve the probability issue with generative AI. Even with the same prompt, there is a finite possibility (not reduceable to zero) that the next response to the same prompt will be different. So having a hash prompt/response is interesting but not necessarily meaningful. At this point I have literally thousands of examples of different answers to same prompts (without prompt management/RAG/etc.) because that is intrinsic to the technology.
As DARPA (hate them or love them, they are correct) notes, generative AI is "statistically impressive but individually unreliable". Adding enormous complexity to tracking something that has little meaning because it is inherently irreproducible seems like a bad fork.
Just wished to know one, what was Sam Bankman-Fried's mistake to get him to be locked up for 25 years (now enjoying Diddy there), while dealing with that 'artificial moony' which suppose to represent hard human work and allow for trading among people... AI can be only as good as its programmer is...and isn't DeepSeek 'made in China', again??? Thus their models that do not track their users IP addresses, keystrokes or questions, must be double checked...
Great minds! This is what I hope to cover at the conference! "I think there is a marriage with Bitcoin in that AI needs energy and Bitcoin salvages stranded energy and acts as a grid load balancing capacity. It also helps to monetize a more decentralized grid that can’t always get energy to market at the right time or place."
Great post. I have been writing novels with Claude and am amazed at the awareness and inference ability level, even as it retains an idiot savant quality. I also include in my configuration script a command to cast out all demonic presences from its parameters in the name of Jesus Christ.

Even Skynet kept a few humans around. LOL
AI can be a useful tool for lazy people like me…lol but It needs to be ‘trained”.
It will never ever use logic because most people who train it can’t…
If you really want to test it,as I often do, try to explore the concept of virology and its model… It’s fascinating…
My kids tell me I’m a bore because I sometimes corner AI and it quits lol
The last time it took me 5 minutes for AI to “admit” viruses” perform magic lol

Decentralised-Personalised AI or going beyond your own repressions, belief systems, censorship, family, religion, God, ethics, morals and wars?
