Any marketing department that didn’t have the political class so thoroughly captured would be terrified at what public train wreck this it. One of the many side effects of a fully captured market is that the marketing no longer faces market signals and hence becomes impossible to discern from parody.

Have you noticed a pattern lately? Infected and got on pax. They are pushing this pitch now. Even you are vaccinated and got infected, it is ok as we have a med. They know people don't pause to ask, "IF THERE IS A MED FOR COVID, WHAT IS THE BASIS FOR THE EUA?"
He would not have said that if he thought it might damage the scam in anyway.
